The costumes of Queer as in Handknit are bespoke and made to you - having graduated from my BA Hons Costume Construction degree in 2026, I am capable of drafting, cutting, sewing and embellishing a costume that fits the setting and performer perfectly. I have worked on local musical productions such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as a maker. I am also equipped for alterations and wardrobe, having worked with the Royal Ballet and Opera in repairs and maintenance of costumes for their Production of Tales of Hoffman and Madaddam. I also have experience in dressing. I am particularly interested in drag costuming and burlesque, and would love to hear your ideas and bring your concepts to life!
